Overview The research in our lab centers around understanding the nosology of mental disorders across the lifespan, with a specific focus on attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, and comorbidity between ADHD, LD, and other disorders. Our studies use multiple methods to determine the causes and consequences of these disorders. We apply behavioral and molecular genetic methods to identify genetic and environmental factors that increase susceptibility to these disorders, then use neuropsychological and functional brain imaging techniques to determine how these risk factors are expressed in the brain. |
