Psychology Club membership is open to all CU-Boulder students with an interest in psychology regardless of declared major. To join, you just need to sign up for the Psychology Club email list and come to events.
Join Psi Chi
Psi Chi is the nationally recognized honor society for students with a declared psychology major. In order to join Psi Chi, you must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of at least 3 semesters of college courses
- Completion of at least 9 semester hours of psychology
- Declared psychology major
- Undergraduates must have a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.0
- Undergraduates must have a psychology GPA of no less than 3.3
- Graduate students must have an average of "B" or better in all graduate courses in psychology
If you believe you meet these requirements and would like to be considered for Psi Chi membership, please fill out and return an application to our office in Muenzinger room D442. You may download an application or pick one up from our office. You should include a degree audit (available at PLUS), a one time registration fee of $80, and fill out both registration cards which can be downloaded and submitted with your application or filled out in the Psi Chi office when you drop your application off. You should also write a short essay following the guidelines on the application or be prepared to complete an interview with an officer during office hours. There is a checklist on the application for you to keep track of the requirements to process your application.
