Our Research
We investigate the cognitive and neural mechanisms of human language. Most of our research uses electrophysiological techniques (EEG, ERPs) to measure the brain's electrical activity during language processing. We investigate the processes that allow the brain to recognize words and to combine the meanings of individual words into larger, complex representations, such as phrases, sentences, and discourse-level representations.
