On Friday Feb. 13, four babies of different ages between 0-18 months will visit our class. Your goal will be to guess their age. To do this, you will be able to ask their parents questions about what the babies can and cannot do. Additionally, a lot of information can be gleaned from observing the way the babies interact with the world, how they hold themselves, etc.

In preparation for this group activity, you need to compile lists of milestones babies reach during the first 18 months of their lives. You can draw from any area of development, perceptual, motor, cognitive, social, etc. It is up to you to coordinate with the members of your team who is going to compile what -- you may want to divide by sources (some do the web, others textbooks on development, etc), or by area (someone does motor, someone else cognitive, etc), or you may want to have everyone contribute as much as they can find.

THIS COMPILATION OF MILESTONES WILL NOT BE GRADED

You will be graded solely on your use and integration of this information in guessing the babies' ages. In class, you will complete this form.
