For this assignment you will conduct a search for research papers relevant to our A-not-B discussion.

1. Go to Psychinfo: http://www-libraries.colorado.edu/chi/psych.html
(if you're having trouble connecting remotely, here's some help.)

2. Search for papers discussing variations or explanations of the A-not-B error.

Hint: look in your book for cites on the topic and search for those authors, search for "A-not-B", "AB", or "object permanence".


3. Read the abstracts and choose one paper.

4. Find a copy of the paper. You can find a hard copy in the library or an electronic copy using FullText services such as ScienceDirect, Social Sciences Abstracts, etc (all linked from the link above).

5. Turn in the abstract of the paper and the answer to the following questions:


a. What was the purpose of the study?
b. What did they find out?

Be prepared to discuss how these results can be integrated to the results we have talked about so far in class.
