Welcome to the Clinical Psychology Program!

The Clinical Psychology Program at the University of Colorado at Boulder is a Ph.D. program designed to train students in the scientist practitioner model of clinical psychology. Through emphasizing competence in research and clinical training, the objective of the training program is to train clinical scientists who will produce and apply scientific knowledge in understanding, assessing, preventing, and treating emotional and behavioral problems. The program has been continuously accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) from 1949 to the present (Committee on Accreditation, American Psychological Association, 750 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002-4242; Phone: 202.336.5979).

The Clinical Psychology Program has been recognized by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) as a Program of Excellence in scientifically validated treatments for mood disorders. For more information about this training grant, see the training program web page.

The Clinical Psychology Program also operates several clinics, which provide effective assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults.

The Clinical Program will not be admitting new graduate students for Fall 2010.
