A Child's Visit to the CDC

Parents and children enjoy being a part of our research, and are together throughout the visit. Visits typically take about 20 minutes, and involve simple games that allow even the youngest children to show us what they know. Many families choose to come in several times to participate in different projects, but participation in one project involves just one visit and does not commit you to any other visits. For participation, children receive a small prize, and parents are compensated for their travel. Families also receive a newsletter reporting the results. We provide baby-sitting for siblings, and free parking.
