WINDOWS: Start SAS in the way you started SAS when you installed SASPairs. For example, if you started SAS by clicking on the SAS icon on the desktop, then start SAS that way.
UNIX and LINUX: Change to your home directory and start SAS in the background.
In the SAS command frame, type in %saspairs_gui and press Enter.
In subsequent SAS sessions, you can use the pull down menu for the SAS command frame, and select the command %saspairs_gui.
After the command has been submitted, an initial window will appear asking you to select an interface (see below). If you are familiar with SAS Libnames, then select that interface. If you do not know about SAS Libnames or if you want to select data sets and files based on operating system folders and directories, then select SAS Libnames Confuse Me. Click Ok when finished.
The SASPairs Main Menu will appear. Select Run Interactive SASPairs and click Ok.
If this is your first time running interactive SASPairs, then you should try to create a SASPairs Project (how do I do this?)
