Major Declaration Meetings

Dept. of Psychology

Current University of Colorado at Boulder students who wish to declare psychology as their major are required to attend a 50 minute major declaration meeting. It is strongly recommended that students have either completed PSYC 1001 or have the course in progress in order to officially declare. Once declared, new majors will be assigned a primary advisor within the department and can schedule an appointment with that advisor. YOU MUST SIGN-UP in order to attend one of these sessions. To secure your space, go to: http://aac.colorado.edu/psych/newmajor.asp Seating is limited, so do not wait to sign up. If you realize you cannot attend a session you have registered in, please remove yourself from the session via the same web address.

Many psychology courses are restricted to psychology majors for the first few weeks of the registration period. Please plan to attend a new major meeting several weeks prior to your registration date in order to give yourself the best opportunity to register for required psychology coursework.

Students arriving after the meeting has begun will be asked to attend another session.

All meetings will be held in Muenzinger E214
