[pdp-discuss] x-axis control in graph log

I'd like to use a cycle counter variable as the x-axis in a graph log
to see activation as a function of that counter's value. However, all
I seem to be getting for any non-zero x-axis value is the epoch
number.

I have a loop stat defined for the cycle, which also has an
instantiated counter. I've selected 'log loop' and 'log counter' on
all my scheduled processes. My graph log was pointed to the cycle on
creation, and I had 'add updaters' checked.

On the log graph view itself the top "<button>-X-" button initially
says 'trial', and on editing this I see that the axis spec is
'|trial'. One of the options for axis spec is my cycle counter,
which I selected and renamed viewspec to my counter's name. No luck.

Is there something I need to pay attention to the in the construction
of my own trial or cycle object to make sure it correctly logs?

Thanks.
