Re: spec is NULL (new gcc needs pdp++ 3.2a)
There is some kind of bug/new behavior in recent gcc compilers that causes the
taBase::SetPointer functions that take a reference argument to fail. This
results in various problems, including this one of spec = NULL. You can
download a new version of the source code (3.2a) that fixes this problem.
