Problem running bp++

Hi,

I've been trying to go through the PDP++ tutorial, but I get an error
message after the first step (typing in bp++).  The error message is:

PDP++ saving recover file(s) and exiting from signal: segmentation
violation
Segmentation fault

The version of PDP++ is 2.0, and it's installed on Linux.

I'd be very appreciative if someone could tell me what it is that I'm
doing wrong.
