The 2 tar files I downloaded and untarred are pdp++_2.0_bin_LINUXPPC.tar.gz (which installed bin and lib) and pdp++_2.0_ext.tar.gz (which installed donfig, css, defaults, demo and manual and a buck of text files from ANNOUNCE to TODO)
There should be 2 more directories installed, as per the manual, scr and interviews/lib which did not materalize.
I tried to use pdp++_2.0_ivlib_LINUX_g++.tar.gz - but it created a /usr/loca/interviews/lib-g++ directory.
I wonder what I'm missing here.
