PDP++ css define/train/test example help needed

I reviewed the manual and did locate exactly what I'm in search of.
I am assuming the following can be performed via css, and would
benefit from an example.
I am interested in locating an example which would demonstrate the following:

XOR scenario is fine

1] css (ONLY) no GUI, 
   define network description, 3 layers, units, connections
   stop criteria, learning rate, etc.

2] train network based on an input file of events
   (callable from the command line with training options)

3] save system with weights

4] present test patterns can get result value(s)
   from output layer.


The example in css/demo is similar to what I'm looking for,
however I do not see step #3, and #4.
