installation of end users version of 2.0a or 2.0b for LINUX

I've installed OpenLinux edesktop 2.4 (Caldera Systems) on a Dell machine
with a Pentium 2 processor. It appears to be running well and I can run
GENESIS without difficulties.

I've tried to install pdp++2.0a or pdp2.0b for LINUX (end user's version).
I seemed to sort out the missing libtermcap.so.2 and libreadline.so.3
problems by searching down these files and copying them to
/usr/local/pdp++/lib/LINUX and adding the library path names to my profile
file.

However, when I try to start the program with bp++ it seems to boot for a
second or two and then I get a segmentation default error.

Any suggestions?

I'm not wedded to either the caldera version of Linux nor to 2.0 versions
of pdp, if it appears that would make installation easier.

Thanks
