PDP++ and complex numbers (fwd)

Can I run pdp++ (specifically bp++; SRN) in the complex numbers
environment(real and imaginary OR absolute and phase)? Do I need
to customize PDP++ to do this? Any pointers in this direction 
would be very appreciated.

I am familiar with the PDP, but new to PDP++.
