The Computer Laboratory for Instruction in Psychological Research (CLIPR) provides support to the Department of Psychology at the University of Colorado in Boulder in the use of computers in teaching and research. The laboratory includes centralized computer facilities for e-mail, departmental network service, file serving, data analysis, model development and simulation modeling. A number of Macintosh computers and a few Windows computers are available in CLIPR for graduate student, staff and faculty use in word processing, programming, data analysis and graphics (including high quality color printing, and large-format poster printing). CLIPR also has a laboratory of Macintosh computers for use in research projects where precision timing of responses is required and a Macintosh-based classroom which is reserved for use by Psychology students outside of scheduled teaching hours.
